Terms and Conditions

1. About ShapeGate

ShapeGate is a mobile arcade game where players rotate and match shapes, submit scores, compete on leaderboards, and may receive record notifications. These terms apply to the ShapeGate mobile application and related services operated by Pardal Labs ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use ShapeGate. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms for you.

3. Your Profile and Scores

You are responsible for the nickname and icon you choose. Nicknames must not be unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading, impersonating, or infringing. We may remove or limit profile names, scores, leaderboard entries, or access when reasonably necessary to operate the service or enforce these terms.

Scores, leaderboard entries, and record notifications are provided for entertainment and competition. We do not guarantee that leaderboards will be uninterrupted, error-free, permanent, or free from technical delays.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse ShapeGate, interfere with the service, attempt to manipulate scores or leaderboards, bypass security controls, automate abusive requests, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, distribute malware, or use the service to violate another person's rights or applicable law.

5. Notifications

If you enable notifications, ShapeGate may send record-related notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings. We do not guarantee that every notification will be delivered or arrive at a specific time.

6. Advertising

ShapeGate may display advertising through third-party advertising providers, including Google Mobile Ads. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your settings, permissions, region, and the ad provider's configuration. Ads may be subject to third-party terms, privacy policies, and device-level advertising or tracking settings. We are not responsible for third-party advertisements or external websites reached from ads.

7. Intellectual Property

ShapeGate, its branding, software, design, artwork, sounds, and non-user content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use the app.

8. Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services such as Apple, Google Firebase, and Google Mobile Ads. Their terms and policies may also apply. We are not responsible for third-party services or for interruptions caused by them.

9. App Store Terms

If you download ShapeGate from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA.

10. Availability and Changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these terms. Material changes will be identified by an updated effective date or another reasonable notice.

11. Termination

You may stop using ShapeGate at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, comply with law, or protect the service.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShapeGate is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent storage, leaderboard accuracy, or that the app will meet your expectations.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pardal Labs and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of scores, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of ShapeGate.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Pardal Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
