Privacy Policy

1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Pardal Labs ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the ShapeGate mobile application and related services.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use ShapeGate, we may collect or process:
- A Firebase anonymous user identifier used to operate profiles, scores, records, and notifications.
- Your selected nickname, icon, and icon type.
- Game scores, run results, record timestamps, platform, and app version.
- Leaderboard entries, including nickname, icon, score, and achievement time.
- Push notification tokens if you allow notifications.
- Basic technical, device, app activity, diagnostic, advertising, and identifier data handled by Firebase, Apple, and Google Mobile Ads as part of app delivery, infrastructure, analytics, crash prevention, fraud prevention, ad delivery, and ad measurement.
- Messages you send when contacting support.
3. How Information Is Used
We use information to provide the game, save your profile, submit scores, maintain leaderboards, detect record-breaking scores, send optional record notifications, troubleshoot issues, secure the service, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
4. Leaderboards and Public Profile Details
When you submit a score, your nickname, icon, score, and achievement time may appear on ShapeGate leaderboards for daily, monthly, and all-time records. Do not choose a nickname that contains personal information you do not want visible to other players.
5. Push Notifications
If you allow notifications, ShapeGate may store a push notification token and use it to notify you when another player breaks a record. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
6. Advertising
ShapeGate uses Google Mobile Ads to show ads, which may include personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your settings, permissions, region, and Google Mobile Ads configuration. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity, interaction data, approximate location inferred from network information, diagnostics, and other technical data to deliver, measure, protect, and improve ads, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal requirements, subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.
On iOS, ShapeGate may ask for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the advertising identifier for personalized ads and ad measurement. You can allow or deny this permission, change tracking permissions in iOS Settings, and adjust personalized advertising controls in your device or Google settings where available.
7. Information Stored on Your Device
ShapeGate may store local preferences such as sound settings, theme choices, profile prompt status, and local best score. You can remove locally stored information by deleting the app or clearing app data where your operating system allows it.
8. Service Providers
We use service providers to operate ShapeGate. They may process information only as needed to provide their services:
- Apple: app distribution, device services, notifications, and App Store features.
- Google Firebase: anonymous authentication, Firestore database, cloud functions, messaging, and application infrastructure.
- Google Mobile Ads: ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and related advertising services.
9. Sharing and Sale of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers, when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
10. Data Retention
We retain profile, score, leaderboard, and notification information for as long as reasonably needed to operate ShapeGate, maintain records, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may contact us to request deletion of profile or score data associated with your account.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children's Privacy
ShapeGate is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.
13. Your Choices and Rights
You can choose not to create a public nickname, change notification permissions in device settings, deny or change tracking permission in iOS Settings, adjust advertising preferences in your device or Google settings where available, and contact us about privacy requests. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information.
14. International Processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as ShapeGate or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means.
