This Privacy Policy explains how Pardal Labs ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Reel It AI mobile application, website, and related services.

We use information to provide requested features, including editing and exporting videos, generating AI caption suggestions, restoring purchases, maintaining subscription access, troubleshooting, securing the service, and responding to support requests.

4. Media and AI Caption Processing

Most editing occurs on your device. When you request an AI-generated caption, selected images or thumbnails from selected videos are temporarily uploaded to Firebase Storage and sent through our service to OpenAI for analysis and caption generation.

The app attempts to delete these temporary Firebase Storage uploads after the AI request finishes. A deletion may be delayed or fail because of technical errors. OpenAI processes submitted content according to its applicable service terms and privacy commitments.

Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or regulated content for AI caption generation.

5. Information Stored on Your Device

Reel It AI uses local device storage and preferences to remember settings such as onboarding completion and subscription access. Exported videos are saved to app storage or your photo library when you request it.

The app may request access to your photo library, microphone, and speech recognition. These permissions are used only for the features described when permission is requested. You can change permissions in your device settings.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information to service providers, when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Temporary media uploaded for AI caption generation is intended to be deleted after processing. Content stored locally remains until you remove it, uninstall the app, or your operating system removes it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Reel It AI is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.

12. Your Choices and Rights

You can avoid cloud AI processing by not requesting AI captions. You can revoke app permissions in device settings, remove locally stored content, and manage subscriptions through Apple. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
